Chocolate Chip Cookies
So these cookies: they were meant to happen. Me making them? It's fate I tell you!
Why you might ask? Well, I'm not one to believe in fate or destiny. I like to think that I have some sort of choice with what goes on in my life, but this my friends was fate.
I go into my kitchen and absentmindedly take an egg out of my fridge and break it open into a bowl. I don't know why I do it, I guess it's just a habit. I look into the bowl at by newly cracked jumbo egg, and lo and behold, it is a double yolker.
Staring back at those big yellow eyes, I wonder what I should do with it. I had nothing in mind when I cracked it. Luckily, I had my handwritten recipes right beside me, open to this very recipe. I made this a while back, and I remembered them being awesome. They didn't disappoint the second time around.
So while the cookies were baking, I obviously saved some cookie dough to eat by myself in a bowl. In front of my computer. Watching the movie Up. While shamelessly crying my eyes out. What can I say? I had no control over my actions. I guess it must have been fate.
